I will be attending two big events this weekend:
CHIME 2017 will kick off Sunday, February 19th with the world reknown hacker and cyber security expert Kevin Mitnik showcasing his hacker magic show and demonstrate the art of social engineering that today’s hackers use to develop trust from users and then use this information to easily hack into your system.
For healthcare CIOs today, cyber security is a constant threat and this keynote CHIME speaker will be well received by hundreds of healthcare CIO and healthcare leaders.
HIMSS 2017 kicks off Monday, February 20th with leading technology leaders, Gini Rometty, CEO of IBM, John Boehner, former Speaker of the House of Representatives and Ed Rendell, 45th Governor of Pennsylvania discussing how technology and the changes in leadership in government will impact health IT.
Keeping with the theme of Cybersecurity, Robert Herjavec, Cybersecurity entrepreneur and Kevin O’Leary, Investor in Innovation and both from the show Shark Tank will discuss their views on cybersecurity and innovation. HIMSS 2017 continues through Friday, February 24th.
